Remote Monitoring

CCTV remote monitoring is a facility that AusTech offers with every CCTV Security system we install.

CCTV monitoring has no geographical boundaries and can be used for premises located anywhere in the World. The use of this service can reduce, if not eliminate the need for manned guarding and will often result in a significant reduction in your CCTV monitoring costs.

How does it work?

State of the art security cameras are strategically located around the site. Images are transmitted from the CCTV cameras on your site to a dedicated CCTV Digital Video Recorder, DVR.  Simultaneously the system will record locally and transmit real-time images/audio from the DVR/IP Camera to the CCTV monitoring centre, customers PC, Laptop or Mobile Phone.

Installing a CCTV System from AusTech will give the remote operator the ability to control pan, tilt and zoom cameras (PTZ’s) to get an accurate picture of the disturbance. The operator can then make a rapid assessment of the situation and take the appropriate action, such as notifying the police. False alarms are eliminated as all system activations are verified by the monitoring centre, thus ensuring police response if required.
